On behalf of the entire SAC staff, I wish you happy holidays!

Since COVID-19 hit, social media usage and online shopping activity have skyrocketed. I implore you to be more careful than ever when entering your personal information into any site and stay on the lookout for any weird emails. If you’re traveling for the holidays, try to refrain from posting your plans on social media; you don’t want the wrong people to know that your property will soon be vacant. As a general rule for any season, keep your doors locked at all times. If you have a security system (you should if you’re one of our customers), please arm it—‘tis the season for criminals to target all those expensive Christmas gifts you’re likely storing. 

Also, after Christmas, try not to leave boxes outside by the dumpster or curb; if an ill-intentioned person sees the evidence that your home now hosts a giant, state-of-the-art flatscreen TV, they may be emboldened to act. If you plan to do a lot of in-person shopping, just be aware of your surroundings at all times and lock your vehicle. If you absolutely have to leave valuable belongings in your car, keep them out of sight.
